Role: Mechanical Vendor Inspector (Third-Party Inspection)

Job Location: Al-Khobar

Projects: ARAMCO & non-Aramco 



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Vendor Inspector (Third-Party Inspection) to join our core team.

As a Mechanical Vendor Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and adherence to specifications of mechanical equipment and components supplied by vendors. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct inspections and assessments of mechanical products during the manufacturing process, from raw materials to final assembly.


Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Quality Inspection.
• Proven work experience as a Mechanical Vendor Inspector or similar role.

Certification: 
AWS CWI/ NACE CIP/ CSWIP
Great to have an API 510 / API 570 or any other API certificate


Good to have:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and components, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to vendor facilities for inspections (domestic and international travel may be required).

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections of mechanical equipment and components at vendor facilities according to project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Ensure that the manufacturing processes and procedures comply with industry best practices and quality control standards.
• Verify that materials and components used in the manufacturing process are of the specified quality and meet required standards.
• Monitor and inspect the fabrication, assembly, and testing of mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures to ensure accurate and precise inspections.
• Generate detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions if necessary.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to address any quality-related issues or deviations from specifications.
• Conduct final inspections and witness performance tests to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements relevant to mechanical equipment and inspection techniques.
