Have you built your career in high-intensity environments and ready to apply that experience in a more sustainable, long-term leadership role in a high-growth business?
About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an experienced operational leader to transition into a true end-to-end business leadership role, moving beyond site-based delivery into a position with full commercial, strategic and operational ownership.
Backed by Private Equity, this industrial business is entering a significant growth and transformation phase, with a clear mandate to scale, professionalise operations and drive performance.
For individuals coming from complex, high-intensity environments, this role offers the chance to apply that operational rigour in a more sustainable, long-term leadership setting—with greater influence over business direction and outcomes.
The Role
Reporting to Group leadership, the Head of Operations will lead a multi-disciplinary team across operations, commercial and support functions.
This is a broad, business-critical role with P&L ownership, combining operational delivery with strategic input and transformation leadership.
You will play a key role in:
- Driving operational excellence across all facets of the business
- Leading and developing both blue- and white-collar teams
- Embedding systems, processes and scalable ways of working
- Shaping and executing commercial and growth strategies
- Partnering closely with senior stakeholders to influence direction
Why This Role - Opportunity to transition into a broader leadership remit beyond site-based operations
- P&L ownership and genuine influence on business performance
- Exposure to Private Equity-backed growth and transformation
- Competitive remuneration package aligned to impact
About You
You are an operational leader who has developed strong foundations in
complex, high-performance environments and is now looking to step into a role with broader scope and long-term career progression.
You will bring:
- Proven leadership experience within industrial, engineering or related environments
- Strong operational discipline and experience driving performance across sites
- Exposure to continuous improvement, systems and process uplift
- Commercial acumen, with an interest in broader business performance
- The ability to lead, influence and build credibility across diverse teams
An MBA or equivalent is advantageous but not essential.
The Opportunity Ahead
This is a rare opportunity to step out of a purely operational or site-based role and into a position that offers
true breadth, impact and long-term career progression, within a business that is actively investing in its next phase of growth.
