Cash Applications & Reconciliation Associate
Location: Hialeah, FL
Work Type: Open to remote
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
Salary: $18 - $19
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract
 
Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Cash Applications & Reconciliation Associate to join the finance team of a global aerospace and supply chain solutions provider. In this role, you will contribute to the accurate processing of payments, daily reconciliation of bank transactions, and compliance with financial protocols in a high-volume, multi-currency environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Post and apply various payment types (ACH, Wire, EFT, checks, credit cards) to customer accounts accurately.
• Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger entries.
• Investigate and resolve unidentified or unapplied cash transactions.
• Ensure alignment between bank receipts and internal postings.
• Maintain compliance with contractual, regulatory, and internal policy standards.
• Identify and escalate financial risks or inconsistencies in payment processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow.
• Provide operational guidance and support to peers and business units.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance or cash applications.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters, charts).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• SAP experience is required; S/4HANA knowledge is a strong plus.
• Experience with high-volume, multi-currency transactions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
