We’re expanding aggressively in 2026 and hiring multiple Business Development Representatives to recruit, activate, and grow relationships with independent health and life insurance agencies and top producers across assigned territories.
If you’re the type of salesperson who thrives on relationship-driven deals, face-to-face meetings, and building a book of high-producing partners: this is a high-upside role with real runway. This is an opportunity for uncapped earnings and for strong performers to build substantial recurring value through partner networks. High performers can move into leadership quickly (including within the first year).You’ll be able to manage your schedule, travel rhythm, and daily execution while owning a territory. You’ll receive training, mentorship, and tools to help you ramp and close.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and sign independent agencies and high-producing agents to your platform/portfolio.
- Work the territory in-person (travel up to 75%) meeting partners, presenting value, and building trust.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements and production commitments.
- Onboard and activate new partners so they produce quickly and consistently.
- Grow share-of-wallet through ongoing relationship management, training coordination, and performance check-ins.
- Track market activity, competition, and partner needs; collaborate with internal teams for smooth support and compliance.
- Consistently hit and exceed new partner acquisition and production goals.
Requirements - Proven success in business development / sales / account management (insurance strongly preferred).
- Strong communication and presentation skills and comfortable leading meetings with agency owners and top producers.
- High independence and follow-through, you plan your week, run your territory, and deliver outcomes.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% within your assigned territory.
- Existing network of health and life agencies/top producers.
- Familiarity with ACA, life products, and ancillary health-related lines.
- Experience selling through or partnering with independent distribution channels.
Compensation & Benefits - Base salary: $75,000–$110,000 (based on experience/territory)
- Bonuses + uncapped commissions (OTE ~ $200K+; top performers exceed)
