Are you eager to land a brand new role for the? Our client in Hampshire are looking for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing operations.

Position: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Hampshire 
Hourly Rate: £27 p/h (Umbrella)
Start: ASAP
Hours: Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm 
Duration: 4 months (Possible Extension)

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out asbestos surveys across their varied 15,000 housing stock, together with our asset portfolio of corporate operational, commercial and community assets.
• Supporting us to maintain and improve their properties, ensure the right repair at the right time and help us provide suitable homes when needed.
• Surveying their assets, updating stock data and condition, evaluating and diagnosing what work is required, assessing the best options to carry out the work and issuing response repairs.

Job Requirements

• Have a degree or HNC level qualification in an appropriate building or construction related subject OR alternatively demonstrate sufficient relevant experience of surveying properties.
• Extensive experience in this area combined with specialist qualifications related to asbestos (S301, P402).
• Have knowledge and experience of construction related health & safety legislation knowledge generally and be able to apply specifically the working at height regulations, CDM Regulations and Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
