Located in Orange NSW, Pty Limited is a privately-owned development company currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Landscape Gardener to join their team.

The right candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing and maintaining seedbeds and growing sites
• Propagating and planting trees, bushes, hedges, flowers, and bulbs
• Preparing lawn areas by spreading topsoil, planting grass, and laying instant turf
• Maintaining planted and grassed areas through weeding, trimming, fertilising, watering, and mowing
• Pruning trees and hedges and installing plant support and protection devices
• Preparing plans and drawings, selecting materials and plants, and scheduling landscape construction activities
• Setting out and installing hardscape and softscape landscape features
• Constructing gravel and paved areas, walls, fences, pergolas, ponds, barbecues, and garden furniture
• Examining trees to assess their condition and determine appropriate treatment
• Operating and maintaining landscaping tools, machinery, and equipment safely
• Applying workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
• Maintaining landscaped areas to a high standard

 About You:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Landscape Gardener or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance and horticultural practices
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery and gardening equipment safely
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform outdoor manual work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements

 Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
 
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum
