The Cruising Yacht Club of WA is a waterfront hospitality venue located in Rockingham WA, offering dining, bar facilities and event spaces. The business is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Restaurant Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery
• Supervising, training, and motivating front-of-house staff to maintain high service standards
• Coordinating staff rosters, shift allocations, and workforce planning
• Monitoring customer satisfaction and handling customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety, and liquor licensing requirements
• Managing stock control, ordering supplies, and liaising with suppliers as required
• Assisting with budgeting, cost control, and achieving revenue and profitability targets
• Working closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless restaurant operations
• Maintaining high presentation standards throughout the venue and ensuring an exceptional guest experience
• Supporting promotional activities, functions, and special events held at the venue

About You:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a restaurant management or hospitality leadership role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities with attention to detail
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety standards, and liquor licensing requirements
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
• Professional presentation and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time

Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per annum
