Our client is seeking a motivated, hands-on, and customer-focused Retail & Hospitality Manager to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in retail, hospitality, wine, and gourmet food while taking ownership of day-to-day operations in a premium customer-focused environment.
About the Role You will be responsible for the daily operation of the venue, including:

• Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with wine and gourmet food purchases.
• Opening and closing the store.
• Managing product displays, stock levels, and maintaining high presentation standards.
• Supervising and supporting a small team.
• Assisting with wine tastings, events, and wine club activities.
• Working closely with the owners to improve sales performance and customer experience.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing environment.
• Experience leading or supervising a small team.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with a proactive, hands-on attitude.
• Availability to work weekends and occasional evening shifts.
• A current RSA certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Knowledge of wine, Italian products, or inventory management is highly regarded but not essential. We value a positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine willingness to learn.
