Our client is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the kitchen of a well-established and growing Italian restaurant. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the kitchen team.
- Maintain exceptional food quality and consistency.
- Develop menus and seasonal specials.
- Manage food costs, stock control, purchasing, and supplier relationships.
- Oversee rostering and kitchen labour.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff.
- Work closely with management to achieve business goals.
About You You will have:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or Senior Sous Chef.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Experience in high-volume hospitality environments.
- Knowledge of food costing, inventory management, and rostering.
- A passion for Italian cuisine and quality ingredients.
- Current Food Safety qualifications.
