Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing concrete and other flooring surfaces through grinding, cleaning, levelling, and repairs prior to installation.
• Applying epoxy coatings, resin systems, sealers, and other floor finishes to residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Operating and maintaining floor grinding, polishing, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measuring, mixing, and applying flooring materials in accordance with manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure high-quality finishes and compliance with company standards.
• Identifying and rectifying surface imperfections before and after the application of floor finishes.
• Maintaining a clean and safe worksite while complying with workplace health and safety procedures.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within scheduled timeframes.
About you:
• At least one year of relevant experience as a Floor Finisher or in a similar flooring installation role.
• Experience with epoxy flooring systems, concrete preparation, polishing, or resin-based floor finishes.
• Ability to operate floor grinding, polishing, and finishing equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team across a variety of job sites.
• A positive attitude and commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum
