About the Role

We’re looking for a talented and driven Management Accountant to join the finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will have the opportunity to play an essential part in the business's continued growth. You’ll work closely with various departments, providing key insights that drive important business decisions. The role also offers involvement in financial planning and process improvement initiatives.
 
Duties/Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and sales analysis to inform key business decisions
• Own the month-end close process, including journals, account reconciliation, and budget variance analysis
• Manage the general ledger to ensure accurate and properly categorized transactions
• Reconcile bank, merchant, and credit card accounts to ensure alignment
• Collaborate with the team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Support finance-related projects to help drive business growth

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA qualified or working towards completion)
• 2-3 years' experience in Big 4 Audit (ideally in FMCG, not a must) or as a Management/Financial Accountant in the FMCG sector
• Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities
• Strategic thinker with the ability to connect financial data to broader business goals
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-departmental experience
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
