Allura Partners are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a market leading, renewable energy business with a search for a Finance Business Partner. Our client is a fast-growing energy infrastructure platform developing and operating embedded networks, solar and battery energy storage assets. With strong growth ambitions, the business is scaling its asset portfolio and building robust financial frameworks to support long-term investment and operational performance. The position partners closely with asset, markets and investment teams, owning asset-level P&L, balance sheet integrity and forecasting while supporting the onboarding and financial performance of a growing energy asset portfolio.

Duties/Key responsibilities:

• Own financial performance of the asset portfolio including P&L, cash flow and returns
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and integrated financial modelling across asset entities
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and oversee month-end close processes
• Manage IFRS/AASB technical accounting including lease accounting (IFRS 16)
• Provide commercial insights and financial analysis to improve asset performance

Skills and experience:

• CA or CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
• 5–8+ years’ experience in energy, infrastructure, utilities or asset-backed businesses
• Experience managing asset-level financials including P&L, cash flow and balance sheet
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Exposure to data or automation tools such as Power BI or Alteryx highly regarded
• Strong understanding of IFRS/AASB accounting standards including lease accounting
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and commercial mindset
