Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Northwest London, are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing and Regeneration operations.       

Position: Senior Corporate Surveyor
Rate: £38.26 per hour (Umbrella) - Negotiable 
Contract: Temporary (Dec 2026) Possible Extension + Hybrid 

Purpose:

• To act as a lead technical professional within the Corporate Estates team, providing expert valuation and estate management services across the Council’s operational and community assets with over 1500 assets and 600 leased properties, capital asset value of £250 million and an annual rent roll exceeding £4 million.

Job Responsibilities: 

• To act as the Intelligent Client in commissioning, managing, and reviewing the work of external valuation consultants to ensure technical accuracy and value for money.
• To support the Head of Estates (Corporate) in the delivery of the Asset Management Strategy, specifically regarding asset rationalisation and space optimisation projects.
• To manage the statutory valuation workload, including Right to Buy (RTB), and serve as the primary point of contact for complex property casework in full compliance. 

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Degree level in Real Estate, Surveying, or a related built environment discipline.
• Full professional membership of a relevant body (e.g., MRICS/FRICS.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
