With a growing client portfolio, they are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their collaborative and friendly team.
  
About the Role:
This is a hybrid role with 4 days in the office and 1-day WFH. You’ll work within a “pod” alongside a Senior Manager and fellow accountants, as part of a larger team of 22. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing BAS, IAS, and other financial statements
• Preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies, and partnerships
• Supporting complex tax processes (Div7A, CGT, GST) for a range of entities and group structures
• Liaising directly with clients across industries including agriculture, veterinary services, hospitality, and more (turnovers up to $30M)
• Providing accurate, timely business advice to clients of various sizes

About You:

• 1–3 years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm
• Exposure to Div7A, GST, CGT, FBT
• Experience with business clients with turnover of $2M+
• Preferred software exposure: CCH iFirm, Xero, FYIDocs
• Motivated, honest, positive, and professional
• Qualifications are a bonus (CPA/CA/IPA) – experience & enthusiasm are highly valued
