With continued growth, the Business Services division is looking to welcome another Intermediate Accountant to the team.
About the Role:Based in Fortitude Valley, QLD, this hybrid opportunity will see you working closely with a broad range of small through large business clients across multiple industries.
As an
Intermediate Acountant, your responsibilities include:
- Preparing BAS, IAS, financial statements, and asset depreciation schedules
- Completing tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies, and partnerships
- Preparing Division 7A loan reconciliation workpapers
- Reconciling GST and CGT, including property transactions and listed shares
- Liaising directly with clients across industries such as medical, engineering, retail, manufacturing, and more
- Contributing to the provision of accurate, timely, and value-driven business advice to clients of varying sizes (alongside Seniors)
About You:To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 2+ years of experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm
- Exposure to Div7a, GST, CGT, FBT, BAS/IAS, tax returns, etc.
- Experience working with business clients with turnover of at least $3 million
- Preference for experience with MYOB AE and Xero
- A strong work ethic, collaborative mindset, and positive, honest attitude
- Completion of, or enrolment in, a CA/CPA program
