Our client is a rapidly growing construction business operating across Australia with sites in Queensland, Victoria and the Gold Coast. With approximately 300 employees nationally, the organisation has experienced significant growth over the past four years and continues to expand. This is a family-run, fast-paced business known for its strong team culture and collaborative approach. The finance team supports a complex construction environment involving subcontracting and large-scale project delivery.

The Role
This role is based in Bundamba will primarily manage weekly payroll for approximately 300 employees, with the payroll processed every Wednesday using MYOB. While payroll is the core responsibility, the position will also support accounts payable and receivable activities across the wider finance team. The organisation utilises a timesheet management system that feeds payroll data directly into MYOB, meaning the role focuses more on payroll processing and compliance rather than full end-to-end payroll administration.
You will work alongside an established finance team including an offshore invoice processing team, 

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 300 employees using MYOB
• Review and process payroll data including employee timecards and adjustments
• Manage payroll-related obligations including superannuation, insurance and other statutory payments
• Ensure payroll is accurate, compliant and processed on time each week
• Assist with new employee setup and payroll changes
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities where required
• Assist with invoice allocation and payment processing
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to support finance operations
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous payroll experience, ideally processing medium-to-large payrolls
• Strong MYOB experience (essential)
• Exposure to construction, contracting or project-based industries (highly desirable)
• Understanding of payroll compliance including superannuation and statutory obligations
• Experience supporting AP/AR or general accounts functions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Located in or happy to commute to Bundamba 2-3 times a week 
• A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to support a growing business
