The Role:
This organisation is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their finance team. Reporting into the Principal Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for assisting in providing high level professional and strategic advice to divisions and senior managers regarding financial and performance reporting, budget management, and costing.

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and performance evaluation of key business units, providing insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
• Lead the development of budgets and forecasts for assigned business units, collaborating with stakeholders to align financial objectives with organizational goals.
• Partner with business leaders to develop financial plans and strategies, supporting the achievement of targets and cost efficiencies.
• Assist in providing independent analytical reviews, forecasts and advice regarding budgetary and financial issues and needs.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with the provision of direct management accounting, analytical support and advice to internal clients.
• Experience with the preparation and presentation of Finance Performance Reports, showing progress in delivery of operating budgets and forecasts.
• Sound skills in use of MS Excel as well as SAP (preferred by not essential).
• Demonstrated capacity to be a self-starter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant finance or accounting qualifications
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CA
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the public sector
