The Role:
This QLD State government department is seeking an A05 Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, you will play a key role in providing financial insights, managing budgets, and supporting strategic decision-making to ensure the financial sustainability and success of the organisation. Responsibilities of the role include:

• Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insights
• Run the budgeting and forecasting process
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs
• Monitor budget variances and identify areas of concern or opportunity
• Continuously review and streamline financial processes

Your Profile:

• Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or similar role
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in financial management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
