The Organisation
This global manufacturing business manages substantial CAPEX programs and has a large, complex Fixed Asset register.  The corporate accounting team is tight-knit, collaborative and focused on process ownership. This is an on-site role offering stability, development and exposure to national-level accounting. It represents an amazing entry point into a large, global commercial head office function with a large accounting team and ongoing opportunities for progression and development across the accounting function.

The Position
You will support the ongoing management of fixed assets and CAPEX reporting. This role includes: 
Key responsibilities:

• Review and assess CAPEX expenditure requests for compliance
• CAPEX reporting
• Manage fixed asset registers, including capitalisation and depreciation
• Support budgeting for CAPEX programs
• Maintain lease accounting records and related controls
• Work closely with business unit leaders, engineers and key stakeholders. This will help you to really understand the business on an operational level.
• Build your SAP skills while supporting on tasks relating to fixed assets and plant structures

Your Profile

• You may be a Junior Accountant or Assistant Accountant and keen to step into a global corporate environment that will help you expand your accounting and SAP ERP systems expertise.
• This is a great pathway into future Financial Accounting roles.
• Qualifications are not essential, but will provide you with a competitive advantage if you are part-qualified and studying towards finalising your qualifications.
• You should have strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
• You enjoy owning a process and supporting others with policy guidance. 
• Experience with SAP or a large ERP system will be hugely advantageous
