The Organisation:
A leading Queensland non-profit organisation with a strong track record of performance is seeking a Business Partner / Management Accountant with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills to support them for 6 months in a temporary position. Operating in a growing market, this renowned profit-for-purpose organisation has established itself as a premier service provider. This value-add focused role offers you the opportunity to make a substantial impact within the organisation, but also ultimately the community. Although this is currently a temporary role, there is potential for the role to get extended or transition into a permanent role. 
 
The Position:
You will ultimately be responsible for:

• Interrogating, analysing, and interpreting complex financial information to support improved decision-making and operational performance
• Mentoring and assisting non-financial stakeholders to better understand their areas and identify opportunities for improvement
• Preparing management reporting, including board reports, Executive Leadership Team reports, and operational performance reports
• Developing CAPEX and OPEX budgets and forecasts
• Collaborating closely with the IT and accounting teams to enhance reporting systems—focusing on both the design and quality of content provided to senior management

Your Profile:
This role is ideal for a commercially astute business partner or management accountant who is passionate about using analytical skills to influence day-to-day operations in a meaningful way. You will bring:

• Proven experience in partnering with non-financial stakeholders
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis within complex environments
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
• Demonstrated ability to leverage systems to improve the quality and clarity of reporting
