About the Role: 
As an Intermediate Accountant, you’ll deliver high-quality, timely, and cost-effective accounting solutions while proactively managing client relationships and adding value wherever possible. Exposure to all core financial matters is essential. As you demonstrate your skills, you will have the opportunity to manage your own client base and advance your career, supported by a dedicated team of accounting professionals.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing tax returns & financial statements for all entities (partnerships, companies, trusts) up to $50 million in turnover
• Offering client support by answering queries directly
• Engaging in complex tax calculations such as Div7a, CGT and FBT
• Collaborating with the partner and manager on multiple client engagements simultaneously
• Potentially reviewing some junior or offshore work, depending on experience

Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm (tax or business services)
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax compliance and laws
• Currently pursuing, or open to pursuing, CPA or CA qualification
• Experience with MYOB, Xero, and Microsoft Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
