We’re hiring a Utility & Infrastructure Project Manager for a well-established contractor seeking a proven PM to lead complex infrastructure and utility construction projects from preconstruction through close-out. You’ll own safety, schedule, financial performance, field coordination, subcontractor management, and client satisfaction across specialized infrastructure scopes.
This is an ideal role for someone who wants broad project ownership, executive visibility, and the ability to make a measurable impact on business performance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage utility and infrastructure projects from preconstruction through close-out
- Develop and maintain project schedules, staffing plans, procurement plans, and execution strategies
- Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal resources
- Track project financials including forecasting, cost-to-complete, billing, and margin performance
- Manage change orders, cash flow, invoicing, and contract administration
- Identify delays, disruptions, and risk factors; implement mitigation strategies
- Reinforce safety and quality standards across all project execution
- Lead project meetings and manage stakeholder communication
- Build relationships with owners, utilities, municipalities, GCs, and inspectors
- Coach and coordinate project team members and field leadership
What We're Looking For - 7+ years of project management experience in utility, infrastructure, civil, electrical, or heavy construction
- Experience managing underground utilities, duct banks, substations, street lighting, traffic/transportation systems, or similar infrastructure scopes
- Strong financial/project controls experience including forecasting, billing, cost-to-complete, and margin management
- Experience with change order management, contract administration, and risk mitigation
- Ability to interpret multidisciplinary construction documents across civil, electrical, and utility scopes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management / scheduling software
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
Compensation & Work Model USD $120,000–$150,000 annually
