Work fewer days. Earn more. Build a career with one of Canada's most established transportation companies.
Trailer Technician (Weekend Shift) — Edmonton, AB
This role may also be known as: Trailer Mechanic, Semi-Trailer Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, Fleet Maintenance Technician
Work fewer days. Earn more. Build a career with one of Canada's most established transportation companies.
Weekend schedule. Premium pay. A $3,000 sign-on bonus. And a shop that actually invests in the people doing the work.
This is not your average fleet maintenance position. You'll join a clean, organized, and professionally run shop backed by one of the largest integrated transportation and logistics operations in North America — with over 50 years of industry history and the stability that comes with it. The equipment is modern. The team is serious. And the path forward is real.
If you're a Level 2 Trailer Technician who knows your way around PMs, brake systems, ABS diagnostics, wheel-end work, and welding — and you want a Friday-to-Sunday schedule with weekday freedom — this one is worth a closer look.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
Most shop roles ask you to work five days a week for a straight hourly wage. This one gives you a compressed weekend schedule, shift premiums on top of your base rate, a skill-based pay bump, tool and boot allowances, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus — before you've turned a single wrench. Add in a company-matched RRSP, 25 to 40 hours of annual training, and education reimbursement, and you're looking at a compensation package that most independent shops simply can't match. Relocation support within Canada is also available for the right candidate.

A team-oriented approach and the ability to work efficiently in a structured shop environment
