Lease Purchase Operator — OTR | Own Your Truck, Build Your Business
This role may also be known as: Owner-Operator, Independent Contractor Driver, Lease-to-Own CDL Driver, OTR Lease Purchase Driver
OTR lease purchase opportunity — take home $1,600–$2,100/week, no down payment, late-model Peterbilt equipment.
- No down payment, no credit check — get behind the wheel of a Peterbilt 579 from day one
- Weekly settlements averaging $1,700 net, with a quarterly safety bonus on top
- A clear, structured path to truck ownership and the tax advantages that come with it
You've put in the miles. You know how to run independently, manage your time, and keep a clean record. What you may not have had — until now — is a lease purchase program that actually works in your favor. Late-model equipment, real weekly earnings, and a team that treats you like a partner, not a number.
This program was built for drivers who are serious about becoming owner-operators. With two program options — a 12-month path on a 2022 Peterbilt 579 or a 48-month path on a brand-new 2024 Peterbilt 579 — you choose the lane that fits your goals. Either way, you're driving quality iron with no down payment and no credit check standing between you and the cab.
The operation is small, accessible, and built around a one-on-one relationship with the people running it. You're not a load number here. Freight is steady, lanes are consistent, and the costs that quietly eat into most lease programs — tolls, scales, lumpers, trailer rental, base plates, Form 2290, quarterly fuel tax — are covered.
Why This Opportunity Is Different Most lease purchase programs bury the real numbers. This one doesn't. Net weekly take-home of $1,600 to $2,100 — with drivers averaging $1,700 — is real, not a best-case projection. The I-Pass is included, the quarterly safety bonus rewards clean operators, and the team runs a genuine open-door operation. Drivers who want to be left alone to run and build something are exactly who thrives here. A Driver Mentor track also exists for those who want to grow beyond the seat.
What You'll Be Doing - Run OTR freight across a consistent 13-state network including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Oklahoma
- Operate on a roughly 2-weeks-out, 2-days-home schedule with flexible dispatch across all seven days
- Drive up to 70 hours per week within Hours-of-Service rules, with a 34-hour restart cycle
- Manage your operation professionally — clean record, no violations, no accidents
- Build equity in your own truck while running as an independent business owner
What We're Looking For - Valid Class A CDL issued in your state of residence (U.S.)
- At least 23 years of age
- Minimum 1 year of OTR experience within the last 3 years, or 6 months of continuous OTR experience with a clean PSP and MVR
- Current DOT medical card and long form
- Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse — no open violations, no active SAP enrollment
- No DWI/DUI or drug and alcohol violations within the last 5 years
- No DOT-recordable accident within the last 3 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- Fluent English communication
- Self-directed work ethic — this role suits drivers who run independently, not those who need significant day-to-day oversight
Compensation & Work Model - Weekly net take-home: $1,600 – $2,100, with drivers averaging approximately $1,700 per week
- CPM-based compensation structure, settled weekly by direct deposit
- Quarterly safety bonus based on Hours-of-Service compliance, clean driving record, and no violations
- Hiring incentive available for qualified drivers
- Over-the-Road position

- Tulsa and Oklahoma City, OK — within 150-mile radius
- Atlanta, GA — within 150-mile radius
- Charlotte, NC — within 150-mile radius
