Structural Steel Welder / Plater
Location: Harworth
Shifts: Days or Nights
Pay: £17.50 per hour (Days) / £23.27 per hour (Nights)
Overtime: Available at time and a half
We are currently recruiting experienced Structural Steel Welders / Platers to join a busy engineering operation in Harworth.
The role involves working on heavy structural steel, including the fabrication and welding of large steel beams and structural components.
Shift Patterns

• Days: 6:00am - 2:00pm — £17.50 per hour
• Nights: 2:00pm - 10:00pm — £23.27 per hour
• Overtime: Regular overtime opportunities available, paid at time and a half

The Role

• Fabricating and welding heavy structural steel
• Working with large steel beams and components
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Carrying out welding, fitting and preparation work
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
• Working safely within a busy engineering environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in structural steel fabrication
• Strong welding and plating/fitting skills
• Experience working with heavy steel and large beams
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
