Motor Vehicle Technician
Location: Ash, GU12 Salary: From £40,000 per year Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join a busy, family-run workshop in the Ash area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to join an established team and work across a wide range of vehicles, including Kia and other major manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment
• Work across a wide range of vehicle makes and models
• Carry out electrical and electronic diagnostics
• Complete routine inspections and fault finding
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
• Work safely and efficiently within the workshop

The Ideal Candidate

• Recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair - IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent
• Experience working across multiple vehicle manufacturers
• Experience using modern diagnostic equipment
• Hybrid and EV qualifications desirable/required
• Air conditioning certification
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Package

• Salary from £40,000 per year
• Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:30pm
