Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician
Location: Bristol North, BS34
Salary: Up to £48,000 OTE
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (30-minute lunch)
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Vehicle Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians, Master Technicians and MOT Testers to join a busy and established automotive service team in Bristol.

Salary & Bonus

• Service Technician: £32,000 + approx. £6,000 bonus
• Diagnostic Technician: £36,000 + approx. £6,000 bonus
• Diagnostic Technician with MOT Licence: £38,000 + approx. £6,000 bonus
• Master Technician: £42,000 + approx. £6,000 bonus
• Uncapped bonus scheme with earning potential of up to £48,000+ OTE, depending on experience and role

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and complex vehicle faults
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults accurately
• Ensure repairs are completed correctly first time
• Carry out MOT testing where appropriately qualified
• Complete vehicle health checks and maintain accurate job records
• Work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Support and mentor less experienced technicians where required
• Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technology, including EV and hybrid systems

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Previous experience within a dealership, independent garage or fast-fit environment
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• A full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years
• An MOT Testing Licence for roles where required
• Experience with modern vehicle diagnostic systems
• A professional approach and strong attention to detail
• A willingness to develop and undertake further training
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
