About you
To be successful in your new role we are looking for:
Must haves:
· A strong interest in providing paediatric developmental assessments and intervention programs
· Knowledge of AAC and feeding/dysphagia
· Recognised tertiary degree in Speech Pathology
· SPA registration & Medicare provider number (or willingness to obtain)
· Strong clinical and non-clinical problem-solving skills
· A client centred approach that is both professional and empathetic
· Ability to work autonomously and as part of our multi-disciplinary team
· Ability to provide services that are mostly mobile in the community, along with some taking place in Xavier clinics
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Meet suitability requirements including willingness to attain a current National Police Check, QLD Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Card
· Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle
· Completion of NDIS Code of Conduct modules
Note: Unfortunately, Xavier is unable to provide sponsorship for visas or supervision to obtain SPA registration
Nice to have:
· Experience with AAC and/or feeding/dysphagia will be highly regarded
