Centacare, an agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader for the role of General Manager – Finance Transformation. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with deep financial expertise and a passion for driving large-scale transformation in a purpose-led organisation.
Centacare supports over 3,000 staff and volunteers across 200+ locations, offering aged care, disability services, family and community support, early education, and pastoral ministries. Contract: Full-time, 18-month contract (to October 2026)

About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the General Manager – Finance Transformation will lead and deliver Centacare’s finance transformation strategy. The successful candidate will oversee key initiatives such as:
- Modernising and optimising financial systems.
- Developing advanced financial modelling and forecasting tools.
- Enhancing performance reporting frameworks.
- Building organisational financial literacy and capability.
- Leading cross-functional collaboration to drive change and improve financial decision-making.
This role is central to improving the efficiency, transparency, and strategic alignment of financial processes across Centacare’s diverse service streams.
About You You’re a forward-thinking, people-focused finance leader with:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar (postgraduate qualifications desirable)
- Proven experience in delivering finance transformation projects.
- Strong expertise in system reviews, financial modelling, and performance reporting
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and change leadership skills.
- An understanding of faith-based or mission-driven organisations.
- The ability to lead with integrity, stewardship, and strategic clarity.
You will also need to meet compliance requirements including a current Blue Card, national police check, NDIS Worker Screening, and the right to work in Australia.
