We are looking for a qualified educator for an Assistant Coordinator role at Holy Spirit Outside School Hours Care based in Bray Park
Since 2006, Holy Spirit Outside School Hours Care has been a big part of the Holy Spirit Parish and school community, offering a fun, safe, and supportive space for kids. We provide before and after school care, plus awesome vacation care programs, for up to 135 students from Prep to Year 6. Our program mixes structured learning with plenty of play, helping kids not just learn, but thrive!
This is a permanent, part-time position working 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday. In this role, you'll support the coordinator and have a great opportunity to grow your leadership skills and take the next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:
- Program planning, delivery, and documentation
- Staff rostering and supervision
- Administration and financial management tasks (e.g. fee collection)
- Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Participate in professional and personal development
- Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the coordinator.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Centacare Child Care Services
Job Requirements: - Diploma in Children Services/Early Childcare or ACECQA equivalent
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
- Experience in the education and care of children.
- Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
- Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
