We are seeking to appoint a permanent Part-Time (30 hours per week) Assistant Coordinator at St Peter's OSHC in Rochedale.
St Peter's Outside School Hours Care provides before school care, after school care and vacation care to up to 100 children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and childcare, with a commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences for children in their care.

Hours: 30 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:
- Program planning, delivery, and documentation.
- Staff rostering and supervision.
- Administration and financial management tasks (e.g. fee collection)
- Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare
Job Requirements: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
- Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the coordinator.
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
- Experience in the education and care of children.
- Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
- Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
