About Your Role

As a Senior People & Culture Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, hands-on HR support across our organisation, with a strong focus on employee relations and operational excellence. Acting as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers, you’ll support them through a range of people matters—from performance and conduct management to grievance resolution and workplace investigations. This role is ideal for a confident HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment and is ready to take ownership of complex people challenges.

While this position is primarily operational, there is opportunity to contribute to broader strategic initiatives as part of our evolving People & Culture agenda.

What you will be doing:

• Providing timely, pragmatic, and high-quality HR advice across a range of employee matters
• Managing end-to-end employee relations cases, including performance management, grievances, disputes, and workplace investigations
• Supporting and coaching leaders on people management practices and legislative requirements
• Contributing to policy implementation and organisational change projects
• Collaborating with the broader P&C team to support workforce planning, engagement, and culture initiatives
• Assisting with P&C data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR advisory role, 
• with a strong ER focus
• Bachelor of Business, HR or other relevant tertiary qualifications
• The ability to work independently and contribute as part of a broader P&C team
• Deep working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks
• Experience working autonomously and providing trusted HR support to managers and teams
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and influence stakeholders
• Project experience and an interest in contributing to strategic initiatives
• Experience in the Child Care/Education sector is desirable but not mandatory
