Position: Fire Safety Officer
ate: £34.94 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: 3 Months 

Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Manager to ensure the safety of occupants across a range of residential buildings, including Low-Rise, High-Rise, and Supported Housing for Older People (SHOP). The role involves providing strategic direction and leadership to fire safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, and working closely with key partners such as Avon Fire & Rescue Service. You will be responsible for managing fire safety projects, fire risk assessments, and ensuring the safety of vulnerable residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver fire safety internal projects in line with Council policies and fire safety strategies.
• Ensure compliance with cyclical fire safety programmes and manage associated risk.
• Work as the strategic lead for Fire Safety in partnership with Avon Fire & Rescue Service.

• Significant experience in fire safety management at a senior level, particularly in social housing.
• In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, British Standards, and building safety.
• Fire safety qualification (minimum Level 4) or equivalent.
