We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Officer, on behalf of our client based in London. The contract for this position is on a temporary basis, initially for up to 2 Months. 

JOB DETAILS

• PAY RATE: £15p/h Umbrella
• WORK TYPE: Temporary
• WORK PATTERN: Full Time 
• LOCATION: London 

• To keep track of and handle all transport-related demands, whether they come from internal or external clients or customers.
• To successfully address any service-related questions from clients, customers, parents, caregivers, council staff, including members, and private and/or volunteer organisations.
• To act swiftly on all transport orders received by the service and to schedule authorised requests for transportation in accordance with council policies, ensuring that all internal and external customers, passengers, or clients receive the necessary service.
• To oversee transportation plans for any designated schools or facilities in accordance with the Transport Service Manager's instructions.
• To communicate any route changes to drivers or passenger attendants using established procedures.
• To frequently communicate, as needed, with the support and/or finance team about any transportation expenses, price adjustments, cancellations, and invoice reconciliations.

• Must have worked in a public sector organisation. 
• Working knowledge of operating environments where transportation played a significant role (either entirely or partially) in the operation.
• Proven ability to plan and coordinate transportation routes.
• Knowledge of fundamental service commissioning or procurement is essential. 
• Must have workplace experience where protecting vulnerable individuals or children is a key component of daily operations.
