Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West Midlands, are looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing Operations.       

Position: Housing Officer
Rate: £22.54 p/h umbrella
Contract Duration: 4 months temp to perm opportunity
Work arrangement: Hybrid


Job Responsibilities: 

• Provide a housing management service for all tenants of the Council’s general needs properties.
• Provide advice, assistance and information to tenants and the general public by way of office interviews, home visits, telephone calls, written correspondence and e-mail, efficiently and courteously with particular emphasis on customer care.
• Complete income and expenditure exercises with customers to ensure they are in receipt of all eligible benefits and are offered assistance around their budget.

Job Requirements:

• Business insurance required for vehicles
• Likely to require an Enhanced DBS
• Experience of working in local authority Housing Officer
