Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Southwest England, are looking for an experienced Director: Housing Property and Investment to join their team and play a crucial role in their housing operations. 

Position: Director: Housing Property and Investment
Rate: £850-1350 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35) DOE
Contract Duration: 1 year contract
Working Arrangement: Hybrid 

Purpose:

• Provide strategic leadership for Housing Property, Investment and Asset Services to ensure safe, compliant, high quality and energy efficient homes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and accountability for housing property services, including repairs, planned maintenance, capital investment, building safety, compliance, mechanical and electrical services and new build delivery.
• Lead delivery of the HRA capital programme, ensuring investment improves housing quality, safety, decency and carbon performance while increasing the supply of council homes.
• Oversee effective asset management and investment planning, ensuring stock condition data, performance intelligence and risk management drive decision making.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation - Essential.
• Substantial experience operating at a senior or director level within housing property, asset management, development or a similarly complex service environment.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
