Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Southeast London, are looking for an experienced Legal Support and Practice Management Team Supervisor to join their team and play a crucial role in their legal services. 

Position: Legal Support and Practice Management Team Supervisor
Rate: £27 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract Duration: Temporary (Sep 2026) Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Hybrid 

Purpose:

• To undertake the day to day management of the Legal Support and Practice Management Team and ensuring high-level organisational support is provided to staff within legal services.

Job Responsibilities:

• To provide strategic insight and ensure best practice is adhered to in all aspects of legal administrative practice. To support the Head of Democratic Services and Legal Practice Management with any accreditations including preparation of, and compliance with, the office manual and processes and procedures.
• Produce statistical data and reports as required, analysing where required, leading on compliance and escalating issues to the Head of Democratic Services and Legal Practice Management. Oversee Legal performance as against the Operational Framework agreement and KPI’s.
• Oversite of the outcomes of the Legal Practice Management meetings and escalation of practice management issues to the Legal Services Management team.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
