Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in South East England, are looking for an experienced Principal Transport Planner to join their team and play a crucial role in their Transport Operations.       

Position: Principal Transport Planner
Rate: £46,142
Contract Duration: Permanent
Work arrangement: Hybrid


Job Responsibilities: 

• Developing and delivering strategic transportation strategies and policies
• Local and regional rail and bus strategy and policy
• Securing transport funding
• Commissioning and managing projects
• Engaging with communities and stakeholders to ensure transport solutions are inclusive and effective.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 year experience within a Principal Transport Planner role or equivalent.
• Qualification in Transportation Planning or a related discipline
