Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Civil Engineering firm, who are looking for a Building Surveyor to join their team in East Yorkshire. 

Position: Building Surveyor                  
Rate: Competitive        
Location: East Yorkshire

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Manage building surveying projects, within a set deadline and budget, from inception to completion. 
• Identify building defects through assessments and provide reports to clients. 
• Offer expert advice on compliance, building regulations and planning permissions.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, architects and other stakeholders. 
• Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes and adapt them into project delivery where necessary. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: 

• Strong knowledge of construction materials and methodologies. 
• Hold a BSc in Building Surveying or related field. 
• Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills to present information clearly.
