JOB OVERVIEW
Defining, creating, and carrying out people services initiatives is the responsibility of the People Services Director (PSD), a strategic partner to the Facility CEO and other members of the leadership team.
All areas of People Services, including employee relations, talent acquisition and assessment, compensation management, performance management, training and leadership development, policy and procedures, and managing a group of PS professionals, fall under the PSD's purview.
JOB DESCRIPTIONThe duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Creates, carries out, and assesses all personnel service operations for the entire company, including hiring, benefits, and pay.
- Oversees extensive operations to guarantee the delivery of full departmental services in compliance with all hospital regulations and regulatory bodies, such as OSHA and the Joint Commission.
- Shows that all departmental resources are managed responsibly. constantly evaluates, quantifies, and enhances departmental performance.
- Demonstrates management and technical proficiency. makes certain that management's and employees' needs for professional development are satisfied.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- A bachelor's degree
- Five years of increasing HR/PS experience, preferably in the healthcare sector, with a focus on training and development, employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, and compensation management.
Preferably, you have supervisory experience managing a variety of HR/PS support tasks. - Experience with the Union recently
- The capacity to evaluate intricate circumstances and offer suggestions to upper management that significantly affect organisational human and financial resources.
- It is extremely beneficial to have prior expertise managing the interactions of numerous personnel in a multi-site context.
- Extensive familiarity with CMS, OSHA, TJC regulatory compliance, and federal and state employment law.
