Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a larger client in Milton Keynes, are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their human resources operations.    

Position: Senior People Services Hub Operations Manager
Salary: £66,537 per annum 
Contract Duration: 12 Month Fixed-Term (Temp to Perm) 

Purpose:

• The post holder will be responsible for the oversight and effective delivery of operational HR services across the employee lifecycle — from recruitment administration through to retirement and exit.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Provide senior operational leadership across Recruitment Operations, Tier 1 Advisory, and Tier 2 Advisory teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, consistent and customer-focused HR services across the employee lifecycle.
• Working as part of the broader PSH leadership team. lead the delivery of service transformation initiatives, including redesign of core services and ways of working, ensuring teams are equipped, supported and engaged throughout periods of operational and cultural change.
• Ensure effective governance and compliance across all People Services Hub operations, including alignment with employment law, GDPR, data quality, and internal controls.
• Provide strong, visible leadership to Operations Managers, ensuring high levels of staff engagement, capability development, and succession planning. Foster a culture of empowerment, professional growth, and collaboration.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Operations Manager role or equivalent.
• Experience in Higher Education or public sector environment.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
