Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Northwest London, are looking for an experienced Master Technician to join their team and play a crucial role in their HGV maintenance operations.     

Position: Workshop Supervisor Master Technician
Rate: £35.74 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3-6 Months) with Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• To diagnose, maintain and repair vehicles in accordance with the strict H&S regulations, O Licence requirements and DVSA standards.

Job Responsibilities: 

• To support the strategic planning of fleet operations and apply professional technical methods and standards.
• To assist, support and communicate with the Service Manager during maintenance/repair processes.
• To supervise the delivery of the operational framework for the development, implementation, and promotion of fleet service initiatives within the Council.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Master Technician role or equivalent.
• Hold a current UK Drivers Licence and have a vehicle available for use.
• Hold a current UK Heavy Goods Vehicle Licence.
• To undertake MOT testing, Classes 4/5/7.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
