Property Lawyers, are you eager to land a brand new role for the? Our London client are looking for Property Lawyers to join their team.

Position: Property lawyers
Location: West London
Hourly Rate: Negotiable
Start: ASAP
Hours: Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm 
Duration: 3 months (Possible Extension)

Role Purpose The postholder will play a key role in supporting Public Law, specifically by:

• Managing legal files on behalf of clients, including local authorities, housing associations, and schools, and advising on property matters.
• Attending meetings and court sessions outside of normal office hours and offsite, as required.
• Advising officers and elected members, including in public forums, in a proactive and politically sensitive manner.
• Mentoring and training junior team members.
• Deputizing for senior staff when required.
• Provide high-quality legal advice and representation in property law matters.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with SRA, Lexcel, and IIP standards.
• Deliver training and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
• Attend meetings, including those held outside standard hours, to provide legal guidance

Experience:

• Proven experience handling property law matters.
• Experience advising senior managers with some supervision.
• Significant post-qualification experience, including advising public bodies on politically sensitive and complex matters.

Qualifications:

• Qualified solicitor, barrister, Chartered Legal Executive, or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong advocacy and client care skills.
• Ability to draft and negotiate complex legal documents.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
