PAY RATE: £45,000 - £50,000 annually

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• The mentoring and supervision to staff within the team ensuring professional standards and best practice.
• Ensuring that the responsibility of safeguarding adults at risk is a fundamental element of this job and that the principles are
  embedded in all procedures, practices, professional advice, decisions, and support. 
• Working alongside and when required deputising for the team manager to prompt an environment of a supportive team enabling them and yourself to work with
  individuals to promote and support independence choice and control with wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.
• Conducting individual complex assessments and safeguarding enquiries to establish clear, relevant, proportionate, and
  appropriate options for the individual to meet their identified outcomes.  

  
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Relevant Qualifications, with a registered body in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing and experience of working in a Health or Social Care setting
• Must have a minimum of 2 years UK experience working in adult social care as a social worker
• Must have experience of supervising or mentoring social worker staff
• Must have experience of complex case work
