Role Purpose
 
Support the delivery of environmental and carbon management services to external clients, including greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, carbon footprints, life cycle assessments (LCAs), and environmental impact assessments (EIAs). The role assists senior engineers with client data analysis, modelling, reporting, and preparation of compliance and regulatory documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's in environmental engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Earth Sciences.
• 7 years of experience, 2 years at least in Energy audits, GHG accounting, carbon advisory, environmental engineering, and impact assessments.
• Familiarity with ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, and fundamental LCA concepts.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of client GHG inventories and organizational or product carbon footprints in accordance with ISO 14064 and the GHG Protocol.
• Assist in the preparation of client-facing LCA studies using recognized standards, methodologies, and tools.
• Perform environmental calculations and contribute to client EIA reports in line with national regulatory requirements.
• Collect, validate, and analyze client-provided activity data and emission factors from authoritative sources (IPCC, DEFRA, etc.).
• Prepare draft technical deliverables including reports, calculation models, presentations, and supporting documentation for client review.
• Assist in preparing client and internal documentation required for accreditation readiness, including evidence files, checklists, and compliance forms.
• Support principal and senior engineers during client meetings, workshops, and project coordination activities.
• Maintain organized project records, QA/QC logs, and version control for client deliverables.
• Monitor and stay informed on regulatory and standards developments relevant to client services, including CBAM, ISO updates, and local environmental requirements.
• Support the preparation of tender inputs, cost estimates, and bid documentation for client proposals, under the guidance of senior team members.
