Job Title: Mechanical Inspector (Welding / Coating)
 
Location: Oman
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable)
Working Hours: 10 hours/day, 6 days/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and quality checks of mechanical equipment, piping, and components during manufacturing, installation, and operational phases.
• Verify compliance with engineering designs, technical specifications, codes, standards, and regulations.
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, such as PT, MT, UT, or RT, as required, and document results accurately.
• Review and inspect welding activities, material certifications, and fabrication procedures.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and provide recommendations for corrective actions or improvements.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams to resolve any non-conformities or quality issues.
• Ensure all safety standards and procedures are strictly adhered to during inspections.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in Equipment Inspection.
• Certifications required: CSWIP 3.1 / B GAS Level 2
