Job Description:
The Plant Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections of plant equipment and offshore facilities during both normal operations and shutdown periods. The role ensures compliance with the Company's inspection policies, work scope execution (WSE), recommended practices (RP), and the applicable API Codes and Standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection of plant equipment and offshore facilities in accordance with Company standards and API Codes.
• Review results of non-destructive testing (NDT) on piping, static equipment, and pressure vessels.
• Review and verify results of hardness testing, internal/external (ID/OD) measurements using calipers.
• Evaluate and review NDT inspection reports and verify compliance with relevant specifications.
• Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic testing activities.
• Witness pressure safety valve (PSV) setting, if assigned by the Company.
• Assess inspection and test results for conformity to Company specifications and API Codes.
• Generate anomaly reports and prepare necessary repair/rectification inspection worklists.
• Follow up on inspection and testing of repair and replacement works as per approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Prepare detailed inspection reports with findings, recommendations, and submit for Company approval.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum eight (8) years of recent and relevant work experience in plant inspection activities.
• Must hold at least two (2) of the following valid certifications:
  • API 510 (Pressure Vessel Inspector)
  • API 570 (Piping Inspector)
  • API 653 (Storage Tank Inspector)
• Proficient in relevant codes and standards, including:
  • ASME Section V
  • ASME Section VIII
  • ASME B31.3
  • Applicable API Codes and Standards
• Skilled in the use of CIMS and MS Office applications.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
