CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES - CIVIL & MINING ROLES (SE QLD & FIFO)

Engineering Trades Australia are actively seeking experienced candidates for a variety of civil construction and mining roles across Southeast Queensland and FIFO locations nationally.

Roles on offer are:

HR/MC TRUCK DRIVERS
Available roles:

• Local side tipper operations (Brisbane and surrounds)
• FIFO triple road train haulage roles (ex-Brisbane)

Requirements:

• Current HR or MC license
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in tipper or road train operations
• Strong safety awareness and reliability
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts as required

 
MULTI-SKILLED OPERATORS
Operate a variety of heavy machinery across active infrastructure and civil sites in Greater Brisbane.
Plant includes:

• Excavators (5t to 50t)
• Moxy dump trucks
• Loaders
• Graders
• Dozers and rollers

Requirements:

• Valid plant operating tickets
• Minimum 2 years of relevant machinery operation experience
• White Card and reliable transport
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision

  
PIPELAYERS
Join established drainage crews on major civil projects throughout Brisbane.
Scope includes:

• Stormwater, sewer, and water main installations
• Trenching, bedding, and pipe laying
• Operating with trench shields and lasers

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ pipelaying experience
• Ability to interpret plans and follow trenching safety protocols
• Relevant tickets (e.g., confined space etc.) are advantageous

  
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL ROLES:

• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Relevant tickets and licenses
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
• Availability for varied rosters, including weekend and night shifts
