Engineering Trades Australia is looking for an experienced Boilermaker to join a high performing maintenance team on a remote gold mining operation in Western Australia working on a 2:1 FIFO roster. 


What will the role involve?

• Maintenance, repair and fabrication of fixed plant and gold processing equipment - Crushers, Conveyors, Chutes, Wear Plates, Hoppers etc 
• Performing welding and structural repairs to ensure safe and reliable plant operation 

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience as a Boilermaker on a Gold mine
• Proven experience in heavy industry fixed plant maintenance 
• Strong fabrication, repair and fault-finding skills 
• High commitment to safety and team performance

What are the details? 

• Location:           Just outside of Newman - Western Australia 
• MOB to site:       21st July 
• Roster:              2:1 Dayshift only roster - ongoing 
• Rates:                $70ph flat 
• 11 hours paid per day 
• FIFO from Perth only
• Strong chance of going permanent with the client if you do well! 
• Weekly pay - Every Friday! 
• One point of contact at ETA! 

What will you need to succeed?

• Australian Trade Certificate 
• A mixture of High-Risk Licenses ie Rigging, Dogging, EWP, Forklift etc 
• Working at Heights & Confined Spaces - Within 2 years 
• Current C Class Driver license 
• Clean Police clearance 
• White card 
• Must be residing in Australia with full working rights 
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A
