Position: Cultural Services Assistant (Government Project / Music Office)
Contract period: 12-month contract (Tentatively from 06 Dec 2025 to 05 Dec 2026)
Working Location: Wan Chai / Tsuen Wan / Yau Ma Tei / Lam Tin / Mong Kok / Shatin
Salary: HK$731 per working day
Working hours: 8.5 hours per day (including 1-hour paid meal break). Shift duties between 06:30 to 23:59 are required, including evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Normal shifts are 10:00-18:30 on weekends and 12:00-20:30 on weekdays.

Job Duties:

1. To assist in the daily operation of the music centre, including opening/locking and tidying up classrooms/rehearsal rooms, tables/chairs, music stands, and equipment.
2. To assist in crowd control and maintain proper order in the waiting area.
3. To be responsible for relocating and transporting all Chinese, Wind, and String instruments for training and performances, particularly during weekends/public holidays.
4. To assist in administrating the music centre room booking system and checking musical instrument borrow and return records.
5. To be on duty in irregular hours for transporting musical instruments during various concerts and other activities.
6. To supervise service contract providers.
7. To enforce venue regulations and provide general management support.
8. To carry out any other duties assigned by senior officers, such as handling public enquiries at the inquiry counter.

Requirements:

• Must be a Hong Kong Permanent Resident and lawfully employable in Hong Kong.
• Secondary 4 standard or equivalent or above.
• Fluent in Cantonese and able to communicate in simple English.
• Previous working experience, especially in the music industry, customer service field, or Government departments, is preferred.
• A responsible, polite, and mature individual with good communication and interpersonal skills.
